Standard Gauge Train Study

Bruce Greenberg will be photographing early Lionel steam locomotives (5, 51, 6, 7), early Lionel electric locomotives (33, 34, 28, 50, 53, 53, 1910, 1911, 1912) and later Lionel electrics (8, 8E, 10, 10E).  The photographs allow us to compare and record the changes in these locomotives. The analyses of these changes will be published in 2013 in Greenberg’s Guide to Lionel Trains: Standard and 2-7/8. The last edition was published in 1994!

The Photo Room is in the Blue Hall adjacent to the Men’s bathroom and at the end of the hall where the food concession is located.   See the Blue Hall Chart for location.

Bruce will take photos on Thursday, April 19, 3:30 – 5:00 pm, Friday April 20, 3:30 – 5:00 pm and Saturday April 21: 11 am – 1 pm and by appointment.   Bruce’s table is in the Blue Hall (approximate location C-48).

Bruce has available data collection forms for collectors to describe their early Lionel steam and electric trains.
